Congratulations to Susan Ansell for for outstanding achievement  "606 Taxation" through the Open Polytechnic in 2012.
Hello.  My name is Susan Ansell.  I live in New Plymouth with my husband and two teenage children.  I am planning to complete my New Zealand Diploma in Business, in the Accounting Technician courses, this year.  As I have not been working while studying, I am currently seeking  employment in an accounting role.  I have enjoyed studying with the Open Polytechnic over the last 2 years, particularly the 606 Taxation course as it is very applicable to many areas of accounting.  Thank you to the ATAINZ for offering this prize.  It is very much appreciated.

"I grew up in Napier, Hawkes Bay and attended Napier Boys High School where I first studied Accounting and have always had an interest in the subject since then. After finishing high school I decided to move down to Wellington where I completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Accounting and Marketing. Originally I wanted to move into the field of marketing, but after working for an accounting firm in Wellington I decided that accounting and tax was definitely for me! Since then I have been pursuing my requirements to become a Chartered Accountant and in the future wish to establish my own accounting practice."
